Hello

We are now standing at the greatest turning point in the history of mobility. The electrification of commercial vehicles, which account for a significant portion of global CO₂ emissions, is no longer a choice but an inevitability in the era of carbon neutrality.

CEO's Greetings

However, the electrification of commercial vehicles cannot be achieved simply by equipping them with batteries. To realize larger battery capacities, shorter charging times, and higher operational efficiency, megawatt-level charging infrastructure is essential. At the core of this lies a fundamental challenge: how to control the heat generated in ultra-high current environments.

Electrical heat generation is proportional to the square of the current. Compared to today’s fast-charging standard of 300A, heat generation increases by approximately 11 times at 1,000A and about 100 times at 3,000A. This is not an issue that can be resolved by marginally improving existing cooling methods—it represents an entirely new level of challenge required in the era of megawatt charging.

Conventional single-phase cooling methods based on sensible heat can contribute to a certain level of temperature reduction, but they have clear limitations in fundamentally controlling heat concentration points under ultra-high current conditions. The thermal challenges of megawatt charging are no longer an extension of existing fast-charging approaches but a new technological domain altogether.

TMEVnet has focused on this very essence. We view the entire power path—from the charger to the EV battery—as a single thermal management system. Through this approach, we go beyond localized cooling to control the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the entire ultra-high current charging process.

Moving forward, TMEVnet will leverage integrated thermal management technology—combining hardware, sensing, control, and software—to build safer and more efficient megawatt charging infrastructure. We aim to grow as a key technology company leading the era of ultra-high current charging beyond 1,000A to 2,000A and 3,000A.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Hyoungnam Cho
CEO, TMEVnet
