TMEVnet was selected as a final company for Cheonan City’s Future Unicorn C-STAR 3rd cohort

Cheonan City announced on the 12th the final selection of the 3rd cohort of “Cheonan Future Unicorn C-STAR,” a program aimed at discovering promising companies to grow as key players in the K-Startup hub. This initiative is a project in which Cheonan City collaborates with five regional startup support organizations to identify and select startups and provide customized support.

Cheonan City announced on the 12th the final selection of the 3rd cohort of “Cheonan Future Unicorn C-STAR,” a program aimed at discovering and fostering promising companies to become key players in the K-Startup hub.

This initiative is a project in which Cheonan City collaborates with five regional startup support organizations to identify and select promising startups and provide customized support.

The 14 companies were selected in the first and second cohorts last year achieved significant success, including KOSDAQ listings, leading the regional startup ecosystem with the city’s tailored support.

For the 3rd cohort, 24 advanced technology-based startups applied, and after evaluations by more than 10 startup support organizations and private investment institutions, eight companies were finally selected. Cheonan City noted that the participation of startups with proven technological competitiveness and growth potential has further strengthened the regional startup ecosystem.

The eight selected companies are G&T, Vision Innovation, AD System, Mithril, HUNIQ, TMEVnet, Rowane, and DIGO Labs.

TMEVnet is a company developing innovative ultra-fast charging systems based on advanced thermal management technology and is collaborating with leading global EV manufacturers.

Acting Mayor Kim Seok-pil of Cheonan stated, “Cheonan provides an optimal environment for promising startups to grow, thanks to its geographical advantages, startup infrastructure, and expanding networks,” adding, “We will continue to offer full support and encouragement so that these selected companies can become key drivers of regional growth.”
