TMEVnet participated in the “Bandung Startup Tech Summit,” hosted by the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, expanding its global network for entry into the Indonesian market.
The event, part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Official Development Assistance (ODA) program, was held from July 11 to 12 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Around 50 participants—including officials from the Indonesian central government and West Java provincial government, local investors, and startups—attended, demonstrating strong interest in Korea–Indonesia startup ecosystem collaboration.
At the summit, TMEVnet took part in a startup IR pitching session, presenting its EV charging and thermal management solutions and business model. Its efficient thermal management technology for high-power charging environments and infrastructure applicability received particularly positive responses from local investors and stakeholders.
On the first day, IR presentations and a seminar on market entry strategies for Indonesia were held, followed by one-on-one meetups and networking sessions with local investors and startups on the second day. Through this, TMEVnet confirmed its potential for business expansion in Southeast Asia and established a foundation for collaboration with potential partners and investors.
The program focused on smart city and climate tech sectors, with eight promising Korean startups, including TMEVnet, showcasing their technological competitiveness. In particular, strong local demand and interest were observed in line with Indonesia’s rapidly growing EV and infrastructure market.
A TMEVnet representative stated, “Through this Bandung Startup Tech Summit, we were able to confirm the growth potential of the Indonesian market and the importance of local networks,” adding, “We will continue to identify strategic partnerships and business opportunities to expand into global markets, including Southeast Asia.”
Meanwhile, the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation signed an MOU with Singapore-based investment firm Meet Ventures during the event, laying the groundwork for expanding exchanges and investment cooperation between Korean and ASEAN startups. This is expected to further accelerate overseas expansion support for Korean startups.
TMEVnet plans to continue strengthening its competitiveness in EV charging and thermal management by participating in various global programs and advancing its technologies.
