IBK Industrial Bank of Korea (Chairman Kim Sung-tae) announced on the 30th that it will launch the “2025 IBK Changgong Europe Accelerating Program in Germany” to support innovative venture startups seeking to enter the European market.
The program includes eight innovative startups selected through a joint evaluation with KIST Europe (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Europe).
The selected startups are TMEVnet, Modivision, Mobilwithus, CIT, WATTA AI, Dynamic Industry, Ilmanbaekman, and Intellectus.
These companies will first participate in a pre-program in Korea with local experts, including corporate diagnostics, business model reviews, and market entry strategy development. They will then join a one-week on-site program in Germany featuring IR sessions, business meetings, and networking with partner organizations.
An orientation session was held on the 29th at the IBK Changgong Mapo Center, attended by around 30 participants, including company representatives and program officials, all expressing strong expectations for the program’s success.
An IBK official stated, “This program was jointly designed with local partner organizations in Germany (KIST Europe and KOTRA), and we expect participating companies to achieve tangible results,” adding, “We will continue to support Korean venture startups seeking to expand overseas, including into Europe.”
IBK has established the “IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Desk” in September 2023 and the “IBK Changgong Europe Desk” in October 2024, and plans to regularly operate local acceleration programs to provide ongoing global expansion opportunities for promising Korean startups.
