Electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions specialist TMEVnet (CEO Cho Hyoung-nam) has advanced to the finals of the “Next G-Star Round” organized by the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation. This follows its achievement of winning the Encouragement Award at the recent “mobility sector online IR evaluation” conducted by the center.
The “Next G-Star Round IR” is a program designed to revitalize the regional investment ecosystem and support startup investment attraction.
In the mobility sector, a total of three companies were selected, and they will advance to the finals along with startups that passed the IR evaluations in the energy/bio and fintech/blockchain fields.
Furthermore, the finalists will receive various support, including direct and indirect investment linkage.
TMEVnet is currently developing an ultra-fast charging interface that can minimize power loss during EV charging.
In particular, it possesses “liquid evaporation phase-change cooling zone formation technology,” which can reduce the weight and thickness of charging cables by about 50%.
Cho Hyoung-nam, CEO of TMEVnet, stated, “Mobility is an important field that is transforming present and future urban life in an innovative way,” and added,
“We feel proud to contribute to creating a sustainable and convenient future. We will do our best to continue leading mobility innovation.”
